A man is in critical condition in Royal Preston Hospital after a crash this morning near the Flag Market.
Lancashire Police said they were called at 4.30am on Friday (July 3) to reports that a man had been found unresponsive on Market Street.
An area around the Cenotaph in the Flag Market was cordoned off whilst police were on the scene.
They believe the male had been on an electric bike and was involved in a collision with a wall.
A spokesperson for Lancashire Police said: “Emergency services attended and the man has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
“We are investigating the circumstances of that collision.”
Police have asked that anyone with information should contact 101, quoting log LC-20200703-0159.
