Two Preston site managers have received prestigious awards from the National House Building Council (NHBC).
William Mills, 38, and Neil Sailsbury, 52, have both been recognised with the NHBC Pride in the Job Quality award, which is considered to be the “Oscars of the housebuilding industry”.
William has worked with David Wilson Homes for nine months, and is based at Lightfoot Meadows in Fulwood.

He said: “I am delighted to have been recognised and successful in winning another quality award and I’m not just delighted for myself but even more so for the site team and contractors at Lightfoot Meadows.
“I thoroughly enjoy so many aspects of my job, but my favourite part would have to be handing over properties to our customers and families confidently, knowing full well they have been built to a first-class standard going above and beyond their expectations.
“I would like to thank my site team, contractors and other departments who have pulled together and worked side by side over the past nine months.
“There is no better job satisfaction than this, it really is as good as it gets.”
Neil has been a part of Barratt Homes Manchester for 15 years, and has recently overseen progress at the Wesley Chase development in Lightfoot Lane.
Neil, who has won eight awards over his years with Barratt Homes, said: “It’s an amazing feeling. It’s important that we deliver the high-quality homes our customers deserve and expect from a five-star builder, so it’s great our hard work has been recognised.
“I want to thank the whole site team at Wesley Chase. It’s a group effort, and without them on board we can’t make it happen.”
