Quattro Takeaway on Great George Street suffered a fire yesterday evening (July 7) just after 9pm.

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service were called to the Deepdale takeaway at 9.18pm.

Four fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and Fulwood attended to tackle the blaze which started in the kitchen.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and two hose reels to extinguish the fire.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the blaze.
