Priest Town Brewery expand on Preston Market’s Box Market to sell more takeaway beer for craft ale lovers

Priest Town Brewing has expanded to a larger stall in the Box Market at Preston Markets.

Opening their new larger unit on Tuesday (2 June), just two doors down from their original plot, allows them to stock a larger range of beers available for take away.

Priest Town Brewing is a craft beer brewery situated in the heart of Preston, they began selling their stock from the Box Market, opposite the new Market Hall, in 2018.

Alongside their own craft beer, they stock a range of other locally crafted independent beers and gins.

Leader of Preston City Council, councillor Matthew Brown, said: “Congratulations to Priest Town Brewing on their expansion, it is great to see a local business thriving at this difficult time

“As always I encourage everyone in Preston to continue to shop local and support our independent businesses, especially as the lock down eases as they are essential for the fabric of our community.

“While shopping in Preston as the high street begins to reopen, ensure you are adhering to the social distancing measures in place for everyone’s safety.”
