Advertisement47-year-old Mohammed Saleem Khan was sentenced in his absence.
Khan was sentenced to five-and-a-half years in prison for conspiring and handling stolen goods.
Preston Police say he is also wanted in connection with assault, threats to kill and engaging in coercive behaviour.
Khan is 6′, medium build, has dark greying hair and a receeding hairline.
Police say he has links to Preston, Nelson and Burnley.
DC Jane Thomas, of Lancashire Police, said: “Khan is wanted by police in connection with several serious offences. If you see Khan, please do not approach him. Instead call police providing a description of his clothing.
“Furthermore, I would urge Khan to come forward and speak with police as soon as possible. I would also remind anyone helping Khan, that it is an offence to assist an offender.”
