A Preston man has been convicted of a burglary which occurred in Plungington last week.
Nicholas Powis, 30, of Hawkins Close, Preston forced his way into a commercial property on Adelphi Street during the early hours of June 16.
He stole cash and other items before fleeing the scene.
Police chased him and he was found hiding in a bin on Harcourt Street.
He was charged with burglary and returned to prison on licence.

Today at Preston Magistrates Court, Powis was sentenced to 17 weeks imprisonment in addition to his 28 day recall.
Sgt Archer of Preston Police said “Nicholas Powis is a chaotic individual and this is a good outcome for the Plungington community.
“Preston Neighbourhood Policing Team are continuing to target such individuals who effect resident’s quality of life
