Police are appealing for information after an elderly man fell and suffered serious injuries while on a bus in Preston last week.
AdvertisementThe man, aged in his 80s, was taken to hospital for treatment after sustaining a serious leg injury.
Police have said the incident was reported at 1.10pm last Thursday (June 18) on the number 9 bus on New Hall Lane which was travelling towards Preston city centre at the time.

Sergeant Lee Harris, of Lancashire Police’s Tac Ops team, said: “The number 9 bus was travelling towards Preston when this incident occurred, and we believe there were other passengers on board at the time.
“We are working hard to piece together exactly what occurred and would like to speak to anybody who saw the incident and has not yet been spoken to by police.”

Police are asking that anybody with information to get in touch with them on 101, quoting log number 716 of June 18th.
