Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS FoundationTrust, which operates Royal Preston and Chorley hospitals, has not reported any deaths from coronavirus today (Thursday June 18).

Latest figures from the Government show there have now been 478 cases of coronavirus confirmed in Preston – an increase of one. The infection rate is now 337 per 100,000 people.

South Ribble has seen two case confirmed, bringing the total to 276. The infection rate in the borough is now 249.7 per 100,000.
Chorley has not seen just any new cases confirmed and has a total of 361 cases. The infection rate remains at 309 per 100,000.
Across Lancashire there are now 3,808 confirmed cases of the virus. The infection rate has risen to 314.7 per 100,000 people.
