No new deaths or confirmed cases of coronavirus in Preston, South Ribble and Chorley on Tuesday June 23

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS FoundationTrust, which operates Royal Preston and Chorley hospitals, did report any deaths from coronavirus on Tuesday June 23.


The total number of people to have died from the virus at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals remains at 235.

Latest figures from the Government show there have been no new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Preston in the last 24 hours, with the total number reaching 481 cases.

The infection rate remains at 339.2 per 100,000 people in the city.

South Ribble has also seen no new cases confirmed for a second consecutive day. The total in the borough is 279 with an infection rate of 252.4 per 100,000.

Chorley has seen no new cases of coronavirus confirmed, as the total remains at 363. The infection rate remains at 310.7 per 100,000.

Across Lancashire there are now 3,835 confirmed cases of the virus, as four cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours. The infection rate has risen to 316.9 per 100,000 people.
