Police are looking for a man they want to speak to after two women were attacked with a hammer in Ripon Street, Plugington.
Officers were called to a house at 9:10pm on last night (Monday June 1) to reports the women had been assaulted.
A small amount of cash was also stolen. Both women were treated by paramedics at the scene.
Anthony Morris, 32, of Preston, is wanted in connection with the incident.
He is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall, with brown hair and blue eyes. He has circular burn marks on the back of his hands and a tattoo of a woman’s name on one of his arms. He also has a scar across his stomach.
He has links to Blackpool and Preston.

DC Mark Thornton, of Preston Police, said: “This was a nasty attack which left two women with head injuries and we would like to speak to Morris as part of our investigation.
“We would now ask anybody with information as to his whereabouts not to approach him but to contact us straight away. We would also appeal directly to Morris, if he sees this appeal, to hand himself in.”
