Ben Brindle, 26, from Preston, is wanted in connection with the assault.

The incident occurred on December 7th last year, at the Lane Ends pub on Blackpool Road in Preston, when the woman was hit with a glass. She suffered cuts to her head and required hospital treatment.

Numerous lines of enquiry have been followed up to locate Brindle but officers have so far been unable to trace him.

He is described as white, of average build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

DC Mark Thornton, of Preston Police, said: “We appreciate that this incident took place several months ago, but we have followed up numerous lines of enquiry since then and as yet have not been able to locate Brindle.

“We would like to speak to him as part of our enquiries and are now asking for the public’s help finding him. If you have seen him, or know where he is, please get in touch as soon as possible.”
