There have been no new deaths reported from coronavirus at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals today according to figures released by the NHS.
Government figures show there have been no new cases of covid-19 confirmed in Preston in the last 24 hours, with the total number of confirmed cases remaining at 464.
The infection rate in the city is currently 327.2 per 100,000 people in the city.
South Ribble has also not seen any new cases confirmed. In the borough the number of confirmed cases remains at 263 – an infection rate of 238 per 100,000.
Chorley’s confirmed cases remain at 350 per 100,000 people as no new confirmed cases have been confirmed in the borough.
The infection rate is 299.6 per 100,000 people.
The figures are the lowest since Blog Preston started reporting the number of deaths and infections.
