Four more people have died from coronavirus at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals, according to new figures released by the NHS.
The number comprises of one death on May 31, two on May 30 and one on May 28.
It brings the total number of people to have died across the two hospitals to 212.
Across the area there have been nine new cases of the virus confirmed in the last 24 hours.

Four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Preston in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number to 444 – an infection rate of 313.1 per 100,000 people in the city.
South Ribble has seen three new cases confirmed, making a total of 257 cases in the borough – an infection rate of 232.5 per 100,000 people.
In Chorley there have been another two cases of coronavirus confirmed, bringing the total number to 346 – an infection rate of 296.2 per 100,000 people.
