Patrols have been stepped up patrols in Broadgate after a serious disorder incident on Thursday (June 4).
AdvertisementFour men were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a car was driven at a man outside the Continental at around 8pm.
A 28-year-old man from Merseyside was taken to hospital with leg injuries after being hit by a car. The car then collided with the pub.
Four men aged 17 from Chorley, 18 from Preston and two aged 21 from Preston have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and have been bailed pending further enquiries.

A spokesperson for Lancashire Police told Blog Preston: “We were called at about 8pm on June 4th to a report of disorder on South Meadow Lane at Preston.
“An investigation is on-going. There are a number of extra police patrols in the area to provide reassurance.”
