Lancashire Teaching Hospitals say there no new Covid-19 related deaths recorded during Bank Holiday Monday.

There is often a delay in recording coronavirus-related deaths during Bank Holiday weekends, while the hospital awaits test results or other delays.
Coronavirus confirmed cases increased by three in Preston, taking the total to 421 and an infection rate of 296.9 people per 100,000.
South Ribble also see three more confirmed Covid-19 cases, with a total of 246 which is an infection rate of 222.6 per 100,000 people.
Chorley borough saw one new confirmed coronavirus case, up to 333 in total and an infection rate of 285.1 per 100,000 people.

Across the Lancashire County Council area there are now 3,521 confirmed cases, an increase of 15 cases on Sunday’s total.
