As the coronavirus lockdown kept Preston mainly empty for the last few weeks a city photographer has been documenting the change.
AdvertisementJoseph Gudgeon on his daily walks has been snapping pictures of coronavirus-related signs and also portrait photos in Preston.
Since the beginning of the lockdown in late March he’s been snapping pictures from a safe social distance.
Joe told Blog Preston: “I like to document all aspects of life in my hometown.
“My recent projects have included everything from pubs, social clubs, the former Indoor Market and even launderettes.
“I always like to have a chat whilst taking photos. I have a genuine interest in people’s lives.”
“It is a unique and horrific historic event which demands to be documented. My heart goes out to all the families and especially their loved ones who have died and suffered from this cruel virus. Stay safe everyone.”
