Royal Preston Hospital staff receive Indian takeaway and ‘Thank You NHS’ cream cake

An Indian takeaway in Deepdale has been helping keep the city’s key workers fed.

Adam Sayid and team made the delivery to Royal Preston Hospital.

It included a fresh cream cake saying ‘Thank You NHS’ made by Mr Sayid’s wife who is a professional baker.

The Spice King team delivered enough takeaway to feed around 50 hospital staff.

Mr Sayid said: “Thank you to our heroes at the NHS.

“We wanted to do something that would help them through their shift and put a smile on their faces.”
