Rottweiler dog missing after Hoghton crash which left van driver in hospital

A Rottweiler has gone on the run following a crash in Hoghton.

Chorley Police were called to Blackburn Old Road at 8.10am on Wednesday (May 27).

A Peugeot Partner van hit a tree heading towards Preston.

A 33-year-old man, the driver, was taken to Royal Preston Hospital for treatment for chest, leg and internal injuries.

Chorley Police say in the collision a Rottweiler ran from the van and is yet to be found.

Anyone with information on the crash is asked to contact police on 101 quoting log 0241 of May 27.
