A road in Fulwood has been closed due to a burst water main.

Lytham Road has been shut between Plungington Road and Garstang Road.

United Utilities are on the scene and did have temporary traffic lights in place but have now shut the road completely.

The burst water main is close to the former Withy Trees pub.

The leak was reported at 11am on Saturday (May 30) and engineers are continuing to work at the site.

Nearby properties may be experiencing no water or very low water pressure while the water main is repaired.
