A Preston and South Ribble choir haven’t let social distancing stop them recording and rehearsing.
AdvertisementThe Red Rosettes used Zoom to record a new track of ‘We Need A Hero’ to all the key workers across the city and beyond.
Each member of the 50-strong chorus, who usually base themselves in Leyland, recorded themselves singing in their own homes.
Tenor Stacy Bridge then mixed and layered all the recordings to create the track.
Zoom was used to create videos of members lip synching, with images and videos, edited by Leanne Blaney.
Leanne said: “We thought this would be a fabulous opportunity for us to present our efforts to the world, and to help raise money for our chosen charity – Derian House Children’s Hospice.
“Unable to perform in any public performances for them this year, we hoped this might be the next best thing. We’ve had great fun making it, and hope you enjoy watching it.”
