A woman from Preston is in hospital with serious chest, face and finger injuries after a crash in the Ribble Valley.
The 23-year-old was a passenger in a black BMW which crashed on the A59 at Osbaldeston during the early hours of Wednesday (May 27).
Ribble Valley Police closed the road for nearly seven hours for accident investigation work.
Police say the BMW collided with a lamppost in Longsite Road before overturning.
The crash took place around 2.50am and the driver of the car, a 25-year-old man from Preston, suffered fractured ribs.
Sergeant David Hurst of Lancashire Police’s Tactical Operations Unit said: “We are keen to speak to any witnesses following a collision in Osbaldeston today.
“A woman has suffered several serious injuries and we want to establish exactly what happened.
“If you saw the collision or the vehicle described in the moments leading up to the collision please contact us.”
