Coronavirus figures are now being reported at every council level in Lancashire.
This means daily Preston, South Ribble and Lancashire totals for confirmed cases are being kept updated and made public.
Preston remained static during Friday (May 8) with 362 confirmed cases of Covid-19, with 255.3 cases per 100,000 people.
South Ribble saw one new confirmed case and has 201 in total and an infection rate of 181 per 100,000.
Surrounding boroughs of Ribble Valley (90 confirmed cases), West Lancs (320 cases), Wyre (286 cases), Fylde (205 cases) and Fylde (205 cases).
Previously confirmed cases were only listed for the overall Lancashire County Council area.

The Lancashire County Council area now has 3,119 confirmed coronavirus cases and 143 people have died from Covid-19 at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who operate Royal Preston Hospital and Chorley Hospital.

Further statistics on coronavirus are updated each week by the Office of Nation Statistics which include a breakdown by council ward area for how many Covid-19 related deaths there have been. As of last week 71 people had died from Covid-19 in Preston and South Ribble.
