Police recovered drugs, cash and multiple mobile phones after stopping a car in Bamber Bridge.

Lancashire Police’s Tactical Operations unit made the stop during Saturday (May 16) evening.

Stuffe into a baby wipes bag they found clear plastic bags filled with drugs.

£800 in cash was also found and three mobile phones.

Elsewhere on Saturday night Lancashire Road Police were at the start of the M65 in Preston near Walton Summit.

They stopped a silver VW Golf which ignored no entry signs and used the road to the DVSA check site as a cut-through.

Police on stopping the vehicle uncovered the driver did not have a drivers licence and had no insurance.
