Police say they have made an arrest in connection with a number of burglaries in Preston city centre.
A man was arrested after an alarm was triggered at a shop in Fishergate during the early hours of Wednesday (May 20).
Preston Police attended and after confirming the shop had been broken into search the area.
They located a man nearby and arrested him.

He remains in custody and police say will be interviewed in connection with the Fishergate break-in as well as other recent burglaries across the city centre.
