A new Chinese restaurant is set to open in Preston city centre.
AdvertisementKing Dumpling will open its Lancaster Road premises on Friday 8 May.
Inspired by Northern Chinese cuisine, King Dumpling promises to use fresh and healthy locally sourced ingredients prepared daily on site.
Freshly prepared dumplings made on a specially imported dumpling
machine will be available alongside other traditional dishes and specials, including chicken curry, steaming spring onion salmon and barbecued skewers.
To begin with, the restaurant will offer a delivery and collection service through a contact-free hatch at the front of the shop. Once lockdown restrictions are lifted, the doors will open fully for customers to dine in.

Owner Paul Inos said: “The inspiration was drawn from my wife JoJo who will be heading up the kitchen as the head chef.
“We want people to have a true Northern Chinese dining experience. We’re open throughout the day for lunch and dinner, and will be open late at night if locals, students or tourists have been out late.
“Our dishes are homemade, with vegan and vegetarian options as well as classic meat dishes. There is something for everyone.”
