A lorry driver escaped from their burning vehicle during Saturday evening.

The M55 eastbound from the Broughton roundabout to where it joins the M6 southbound at Junction 32 was shut for around three hours.
The lorry became ablaze shortly after 9pm on Saturday (May 9).
Firefighters from Fulwood, Preston and Penwortham attended the fire and it took two crews around half-an-hour to extinguish the fire.
The motorway reopened shortly after 12midnight with one lane closed while the burned out shell of the lorry was recovered.
