Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has announced 10 deaths from coronavirus today (Thursday May 21).
The figure is the highest recorded from any hospital trust in England and Wales today, and includes people who have died from the virus on previous days, whose deaths have not been recorded.
It has now been revealed that one person died on May 19, two people died on May 18, three people died on May 17, three people died on May 16 and one person died on May 15.
The total number of people to have died at Royal Preston and Chorley hospitals now stands at 185.

Figures released by the government show there have been eight new cases of coronavirus confirmed in Preston and South Ribble.
In Preston there have been four cases confirmed, bringing the total to 399 – an infection rate of 281.3 per 100,000 people.
In South Ribble there have also been four new cases confirmed, bringing the total to 225 – an infection rate of 207.5 per 100,000 people.
