Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has not reported any deaths from coronavirus at Royal Preston or Chorley Hospitals for the last 24 hours.

In South Ribble, one new coronavirus case has been confirmed, bringing the total number to 254, with an infection rate of 229.8 per 100,000 people in the borough.
Chorley has also seen no new cases of the virus confirmed, with the total number of cases remaining at 341. The infection rate in Chorley is now 291.9 per 100,000 people.

In the Lancashire County Council area there have been 3,616 confirmed coronavirus cases, an increase of seven from yesterday and an infection rate of 298.8 per 100,000 people.
New lockdown easing guidance comes into force in England on Monday (June 1) as groups of six people from different households may meet in a public place, such as a park, or in a private garden.
