A motorcyclist remains in hospital after a serious crash during Wednesday evening in Preston.

Emergency services were called to Grizedale Crescent in Ribbleton at 7.10pm.
Preston Police say a 33-year-old man on a Kawasaki motorbike failed to negotiate a bend as he left Bowland Road at the junction of Grizedale Crescent.
The biker suffered serious injuries during the incident on Wednesday (May 6).
Sergeant Phil Barber of Lancashire Constabulary’s Tactical Operations Unit said: “This collision has left a man with some very significant injuries and I would appeal to anyone who saw the collision itself or the manner in which the motorcycle was ridden prior to the incident itself to get in touch.”

The rider of the biker was taken to Royal Preston Hospital with serious injuries after he collided with the wall of a house. He remains in hospital for treatment.
