A biker has died in hospital after a crash in Ribbleton.
AdvertisementStephen Sergeant suffered serious injuries after coming off his bike at the junction of Bowland Road and Grizedale Crescent on Wednesday (May 6) evening.
Preston Police said the 33-year-old died during Friday (May 8) morning.
Mr Sergeant had been riding a Kawasaki bike when he came off the bike, trying to negotiate a bend, and collided with the wall of a house at around 7.10pm.
Sergeant Phil Barber of Lancashire Constabulary’s Tactical Operations unit said: “These are very sad and tragic circumstances and my thoughts are with Mr Sergeant and his family at this difficult time.
“We are continuing to appeal for information following the collision and would urge anyone with information to come forward.
“If you saw what happened, or the manner in which the motorcycle was ridden prior to the incident, please contact us.”
