Today’s figures from the NHS reveal there have been no further deaths from coronavirus at Royal Preston and Chorley Hospitals for the fourth consecutive day.
AdvertisementLancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust release the figures daily, however the death toll remains at 175 across the two hospitals.
Figures can sometimes take a few days to be updated, due to data gathering methods. However the numbers have not increased since the trust announced no deaths over the weekend.
Confirmed cases of coronavirus rose to 395 overnight. The number of people to have tested positive for the virus has increased by 11 in Preston.
The infection rate is now 278.5 per 100,000 residents.

In South Ribble, four new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, bringing the total number to 225.
The infection rate in the borough is now 203.6 per 100,000.
