UCLan donates scientific kit to help in battle against coronavirus

Lab kit from Preston’s university has been shipped out to help in the fight against coronavirus.

The University of Central Lancashire has donated the scientific equipment.

It will go to Randox Laboratories who are working to produce solutions which can combat and detect the virus.

The university joins other Preston firms who have been helping in the coronavirus pandemic.

BAE Systems is manufacturing face shields to help NHS workers while Westinghouse Springfields delivered PPE kit to NHS workers at Royal Preston Hospital.
