Preston Police have been out delivering Easter Eggs to girls and boys following the coronavirus lockdown rules.
The city has been largely complying with the government’s instruction not to leave your house unless for essential reasons, such as food shopping or for one form of exercise a day.
The force put out the ability for parents to nominate their well-behaved children to receive a visit from an officer.
The chocolate eggs were handed over, at a safe distance, to the children like six-year-old Charlie.
Turning six he was given the Easter Eggs, along with one for his sister, which have been provided by the Lancashire Resilience Fund.
His mother Robyn said: “He’s so made up by this! thankyou so much to you guys it certainly made his birthday in lockdown that bit extra special!”
