A daily occurrence in Penwortham has been lifting spirits.

Those living in Highgate have been assembling at their front gates at 4.30pm on the dot each day.

Neil Diamond’s classic has been the tune for some socially distanced dancing down the road.

Paul Caton captured the scenes in the road during Friday afternoon’s sing-a-long and dance-a-long.
