A new takeaway is planned for a former bike shop in Fulwood.
Fulwood Cycles has been closed for more than 18 months in Black Bull Lane.
Now Ibrahim Sanibal has applied to convert the former shop into what Blog Preston understands is to be a fish and chip shop.
Mr Sanibal is a director of the current Queen Vic fish and chips shop in Moor Lane.
The premises has a small amount of parking available and is close to the crossroads with Boy’s Lane and Kings Drive.
The takeaway would be open seven-days-a-week from 10am to 11pm.

PWA Planning who have submitted the plans state: “Given the site’s location within an existing cluster of businesses within the existing urban area of Fulwood it is deemed an appropriate location for this form of development.
“The proposals will bring an existing property back into long-term viable
use. The noise and odour impacts from the development can be mitigated against appropriately.”
