Man dies after falling from Avenham car park

A man has died after falling from Avenham car park.


Police and paramedics were called to Syke Street at 1:55pm today (Wednesday April 15) to reports a person had fallen from the multi-storey building.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The man’s family have been informed and a file has been passed to the coroner.

The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
