And in a tribute to Freddie’s home town, the cricketer has named the newborn Preston.
Speaking on talkSPORT, Freddie said: ‘Little Preston was born at Christmas – it is the first time I’ve actually spoken about it.’
The name comes as no surprise to Prestonians after Freddie, real name Andrew, said he “can’t remember having a bad night in Tokyo Jos.”
In a video clip which emerged before last year’s Tokes Reunion, Freddie said: ““Monday nights, 10p a pint. Best night of the week. Tuesdays were good. Wednesdays and Thursdays. I can’t remember having a bad night.”
