Fire crews tackle driftwood fire near Preston Docks

Emergency services were called to a fire near Preston Docks during Saturday evening.

Crews from Penwortham Fire Station attended and spent 30 minutes tackling the fire which involved a large quantity of driftwood.

The fire was out in the open off Wallend Road around 7.30pm on Saturday (25 April).

Preston Police also attended the fire to help with an investigation into the cause.
