Firefighters had to perform a rescue operation at Preston Railway Station during Bank Holiday morning.
Crews from Preston and Penwortham attended the railway station shortly after 7am on Monday April 13.
A spokesman said: “Firefighters rescued one person from the railway tracks using a long board and first aid equipment.”
North West Ambulance Service also attended and took the person in question to hospital.
