Amy Farnworth spotted the giant beast as she went out to her local shop to buy essentials.

She said: “I’ve just been to the shop to get coffee and there’s a huge, inflatable dinosaur walking down the road. I don’t know what he’s doing, but he’s entertaining me!”

The dinosaur walked down Wellington Road, crossed Tulketh Road and waved at Amy, before disappearing down Egerton Road.

Amy said: “Too funny. It proper made my day!”
