The hit TV show Come Dine With Me is returning to Preston – and they are looking for couples to host.
AdvertisementIt is the third time the show has shot in Preston and surrounding areas, and many viewers will remember the episode in 2009 in which contestant Dawn Barry enjoyed herself immensely, leaving her guests to cook their own main course (Twitter recap here).
Dawn tragically died in 2013 but went down in history as one of Come Dine With Me’s most popular hosts.
Now the show will be returning to film a couples episode of the show in the city and surrounding areas.
Over three nights, three couples will battle it out to host a dinner party to remember, all looking to be scored the highest so they can walk away with the £1000 prize.
Sasha Risner, casting producer for the show, says: “Following the success of previous episodes in Preston we are back looking for perfect partnerships to create the recipe for success.
“We are looking for keen cooks with bags of energy and who are up for the challenge of winning £1,000!”
“The filming dates will only happen once the Government Action has given us permission to go ahead. For now, we are pre-casting the show from home and we will pick up filming when it’s safe to do so.”
