Here at Blog Preston we have always strived to be at the centre of our community by championing local people, businesses and causes.

In our 11 years of existence it’s fair to say we’ve never seen Preston come up against a challenge the size of coronavirus.

We’ve already reported on some of the impacts to our city and its people in these unprecedented times.

In the space of a few days we have seen many examples of the kind of strength and compassion we know our fellow Prestonians possess, and it made us think, what could we do to help?

So our idea is to give 50 per cent off our (already very reasonable) advertising rates for any small businesses who are needing to change tactics in light of the coronavirus pandemic.
