Police are trying to identify this man after a woman was sexually assaulted on Preston Bus Station.

Between 10.10pm and 10.15pm on March 12 an 18-year-old woman reported she had been approached by a man as she sat on a bench.

The man sat down next to the victim it is alleged he touched her inappropriately. The woman walked away and later reported the incident to police.

Following CCTV enquiries police want to speak to the man pictured as part of the investigation.

PC Emma Brookfield, of Preston Police, said: “We are appealing for information after a woman reported she was sexually assaulted in Preston.

“I would urge anyone who recognises the man to get in touch. Furthermore, if you are the man shown on the CCTV, please contact us.”
