The next generation of puparazzi is being trained in Avenham Park thanks to a series of dog photography workshops.
The workshops are being run by CatsDog, the Preston-based dog photographers. The CatsDog team have used their experience from seven years photographing dogs around the world to create the workshops.
The first event took place in January, and a second is scheduled for Saturday 22 February.
Owner of CatsDog, Cat Race, said: “We’ve just embarked on the first dog photography workshop to be held in this part of the UK, with attendees joining us from all over the country.
“We ran the theory in our Tulketh Brow studio and had the practical in Avenham and Miller Parks. Our final workshop in this series will see participants joining us from as far as Portugal!”

The theory element of the workshop takes place in the morning and covers topics such as lens selection, light and location.
In the afternoon practical, participants learn how to engage their subject and manage a client’s expectations.
