The previous branch at 144-146 Preston Road closed temporarily in August 2019 due to the resignation of the Postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.

Post Office Area Network Change Manager, Amanda Coghlan, said: “We are pleased that the Postmaster for Longridge can provide this service for Grimsargh whilst we continue to look for a permanent solution. We know that the community will welcome this news.”
