A two-day event is set to bring arts, culture, health and wellbeing experiences to Preston.
The Living City Weekender is being organised by They Eat Culture. It’s billed as “a celebration of the best of what our city already is and an exploration of what a sustainable living city of the future could look and feel like”.
The event will include a city feast, an edible garden, a day and night market, film, music, dancing, yoga, workshops, debates, artist installations and more.
There are opportunities to get involved with the event as a volunteer, a contributor, a business sponsor or a venue.
The organisers are also specifically looking for performers for the night market, an engagement artist to deliver their Veggie Sitters project, a creative technologist to explore digital installations, and an audio-visual specialist to record, edit and share content.
In addition they are looking to support five projects to develop new artistic activity and social action ideas.
