Kirkham and District Art Society is set to launch its 2020 programme of events.

The group has planned a year of workshops, demos and practical sessions.

Member Linda Daunter said: “We have a varied programme planned for 2020, which will explore different art materials, techniques and styles, and give members the chance to ‘do their own thing’.

“We are a friendly group, interested in all kinds of visual arts. Anyone of any age or ability – including absolute beginners – will be very welcome to join us.”

The group’s first meeting of the year will take place on Wednesday 5 February from 7.30pm to 9.30pm at Kirkham Community Centre.
