A new monthly dub night is coming to Preston.
Preston Dub Club is being run by Preston/Blackburn outfit Operation Sound System.
Each month two sound system will play the event at Roper Hall.
Nick Sasquash from Operation Sound System said: “We have toured every year since 1996, and are lucky to have the opportunity to play across the whole of the UK and sometimes in Europe.
“We have a good following in Preston, yet no events to play at. We decided that needed to change.
“Preston Dub Club will showcase both new upcoming and established sound system. The emphasis will be on sound and music quality as opposed to pure loudness.”
The first event will taken place on Friday 31 January, and will see Mighty Oak Sound System from Scotland meet with Operation Sound System. The night will run from 10pm to 3am, with tickets £5 on the door.
