Lostock Ale opens on Friday January 24

A new watering hole is opening its doors in Lostock Hall this weekend.

Lostock Ale is the latest venture for Raymond McLaughlin and his family.

The micro pub, in what was Jayne Miller’s card shop in Hope Terrace, focuses on craft ales, wines and spirits.

It aims to create a friendly atmosphere with no music, where people can pop in for a chat.

Lostock Ale will be open from 2pm to 11pm Sunday to Thursday and 2pm to 12.30am on Friday and Saturdays.

What do you think about the new micro pubs opening up? Let us know in the comments section.
