Fire Crews attend suspicious HGV fire in Grimsargh

Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service attended a vehicle fire on Rough Hey Road in Grimsargh last night (5th January 2020) .

Crews received a call to the scene at 6.51pm where a HGV was ablaze when they arrived.

Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and two hose reels and lighting to extinguish the blaze.

No injuries have been reported following the incident.

The fire has been determined to have been of a suspicious origin and police have been requested to assist the investigation.
